Looking for something fun and educational for your kids to do this summer? Try one of Wild Roots Studio’s five-day Children’s Nature Art Camps at Art Lab in Fort Collins.

The camps combine nature walks, environmental education and nature-based art for children ages 5 to 10. The studio will host two camps at Art Lab, the first running from June 12-16 and the second from July 24-28.

From 9 am to 3 pm each day, kids will learn about the environment, enjoy nature walks and scavenger hunts and create nature-based art like gnome houses and nature collage self-portraits. At the end of the week, they’ll decorate Old Town Square with their earth art and share their creations with the community at their very own Earth Art Show.

The camp is based out of Art Lab, a cooperative of art, music and performance made for and by the artists and creatives in Fort Collins. Its goal is to turn empty storefronts into vibrant art spaces.

The Children’s Nature Art Camp is $170 per child. Families registering more than one child will receive a $10 per session discount for each sibling by using the code FAMILY10.
