Coldwell Banker Colorado Gives Back Over $140,000 in 2018

As a company, we believe in giving back, and as a result we gave over $140,000 to the community in 2018! During the 2018 charitable giving year, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Colorado achieved the following. Take a look.

 

Cycle Nation Denver 

The 4th annual Cycle Nation Denver events benefited the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association and Coldwell Banker was the leader in number of teams and participants. Chris Mygatt, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Colorado, was the Executive Chairperson for the event and fundraising efforts last year. Coldwell Banker was recognized with the Company Spirit Award and as Top Fundraising Team. The company raised a total of $63,900 in 2018 and donated an additional $20,000 as a top sponsor, bringing the total to nearly $84,000.

 

Soles4Souls Shoe Drives

During the Soles4Souls shoe drives, more than 16,000 shoes were collected for those in need in Haiti and Honduras in the spring and summer of 2018. Other donations were collected as well – including 15,285 meals and over a hundred students have received one-year enrollment tuition.

 

Denver Century Ride

The Coldwell Banker Denver Century Ride offers various ride options, including a 25-mile, 50-mile, 85-mile and signature 100-mile ride. As a sole sponsor we raised $20,405 during the 2018 event. Three local bike advocacy groups are recipients of the funds, including Bicycle Colorado, Bike Denver and Denver B-Cycle. Coldwell Banker is celebrating its 10-Year Anniversary in 2019 – and over the years have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for bike advocacy groups across Colorado.

 

Women’s Bean Project  

The company sponsored tables, volunteer hours and baskets to help the Ready, Set, Grow Fundraiser event that raised $220,000 raised in one hour. Coldwell Banker Colorado is pleased to support the mission of The Women’s Bean Project, which offers a public way to address chronic unemployment and a host of other challenges.

 

Sense of Security

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage was the co-sponsor of the Colorado Fundraising Gala on September 15, 2018, with over three hundred people in attendance. The event raised money to offer financial assistance for Colorado women and families undergoing and affected by breast cancer treatment.

 

Animal Aid USA

Coldwell Banker was the title sponsor of the Polo, Puppies and the Prince puppy adoption event and fundraiser and donated $6,000 towards the event. Animal Aid USA and Animal Welfare Funding Alliance helped save two hundred animals because of the fundraiser and adoption event.

 

Up With People

 

 

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Colorado was a title sponsor of the 7th Annual Up With People Fundraising Gala, donating $20,000 towards event. The proceeds from the gala provides tuition assistance for students who otherwise could not participate in Up With People, assists with educational programming such as the National Institute for Civil Discourse’s Revive Civility curriculum and underwrites service projects in local communities.

 

Rocky Mountain Alliance Children’s Foundation 

As a title sponsor of the Back-to-School Polo and Movie Night, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Colorado donated $10,000 to the organization. Twenty four charities in Denver were granted monies – Girls, Inc., Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center, Hope House of Colorado and Florence Crittenton Services to name a few.
