Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced that Michael Marcus, broker associate in the company’s Southeast Metro at DTC office, has earned the Residential Construction Certified (RCC) and the Certified New Home Sales real estate designations from the New Home Sales Institute.  Marcus helps buyers and sellers throughout metro Denver, specializing in sales in Denver’s southeast quadrant, in particular in the area surrounding the Denver Tech Center.

As more and more new homes are being built in metro Denver, the RCC and CNHS designations are considered by many real estate industry professionals to be essential to servicing buyer clients well.  To earn the RCC and CNHS designation, Marcus completed 40 hours of mandatory study and passed two comprehensive exams, the knowledge from which will assist him in providing the best service to his clients.

Along with his wife Laurie, Marcus heads the Marcus Team, Coldwell Banker’s No. 1 team in metro Denver and in 2015 was the South Metro Denver Realtor® Association’s Realtor of the Year.  A consistent top producer with Coldwell Banker, Marcus said, “I’m always striving to learn new things to make me a better Realtor® to better serve my clients.”

Marcus is an active member of the Mountain Region Board of the Jewish National Fund and National Vice-Chair of Friends of the Arava Institute. An avid golfer, he also enjoys beach vacations.
