Colorado has been selected as the destination for the next season of Bravo TV’s “Top Chef,” a reality show that features chefs competing against each other in various culinary challenges.
Production of Season 15 of the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning reality show will begin this spring with a new batch of talented chefs battling it out for the title of Colorado’s “Top Chef.” Challenges will be set in Denver, Boulder and Telluride. Specific restaurants and chefs have not been revealed yet.
Having the season filmed in Colorado gives the state the opportunity to share its food story with a TV audience that spans more than 20 countries.
Set to premier later this year, the series returns with host Padma Lakshmi, head judge Tom Colicchio, along with Gail Simmons and Graham Elliot at the judges table.
“Top Chef” is the No. 1 food show on cable. Season 14, which crowned Brooke Williamson of Los Angeles Top Chef, hit season highs with 2.2 million total viewers.
