The Three Best Karaoke Venues in Denver

The lively city of Denver offers a lot of activities to its locals ranging from outdoor recreating and shopping to amazing restaurants, bars and breweries. But have you realized that karaoke is also big here? We’ve rounded up our three favorite karaoke venues in the city:

Voicebox

Looking for a fun venue to host your next gathering? Check out Voicebox, a private-suite karaoke spot that’s opening in RiNo this summer.

The 4,500-square-foot singalong mecca at 2601 Walnut Street will have 10 private suites, a central bar area and fun, on-the-go food and drink. It will be the perfect spot for all kinds of events from a small gathering of friends to post-work team-building and bachelorette parties.

Founder Scott Simon launched Voicebox with the goal of fostering a longstanding human tradition: personal connection through music.

Through vbsongs.com, a proprietary technology developed by Voicebox CTO Carter Thaxton, guests can make a playlist and “favorite” songs in advance of their suite reservation. When guests arrive, the list will automatically populate in their suite, where they can control lights and song selection directly from a smartphone.

El Charrito

Known for its reasonably priced drinks and food, El Charrito’s karaoke is definitely one of the best spots in town to sing your heart out to your favorite songs. The karaoke is open to anyone and its participants are never shunned, but always encouraged to have a good time.

El Charrito also serves as a Mexican restaurant and bar, offering food like nachos, quesadillas, tacos, burritos, etc. The perfect way to brighten up your week night.

The Bar Car

The Bar Car is an old-school bar updated with a modern twist. It is reminiscent of a train’s bar car from back in the day with decorations of oil paintings and brass chandeliers.

Need a place to hang out on Thursday nights? The Bar Car’s karaoke night is the perfect place to be. Don’t be fooled by it’s small space, this bar has a lot of character and it’s lively atmosphere will really get you in the singing spirit!
